Linux Solutions Group (LiSoG)

Linux Solutions Group e.V. (LiSoG) was founded in March 2005. Its mission is to foster linux-based business. With its clear business orientation and cross-national approach, LiSoG has a unique status in the German-speaking area. Forming a new cooperation platform, LiSoG strives to promote successful comprehensive solutions on Linux, to develop a business oriented integration culture and to heighten acceptance and confidence of users and providers.

Joining LiSoG shows the clear strategy of Ancud IT to actively participate in the open source landscape and to strengthen confidence in open source products. With the membership Ancud IT supports a cooperation platform for exchanging know-how and experiences with best practice solutions. Provider members are, among others: IBM, MySQL, Novell, Red Hat, Siemens Business Services. Some user members are Stuttgarter Versicherung, State of Bavaria, and Federal Administration of Switzerland. University members include Linz, Erlangen-Nürnberg, and Mannheim.

ASQF - Family of Software Professionals

Arbeitskreis Software Qualität Franken e.V. (ASQF) is Germany’s most important organization in the software quality sector. As non-profit organization, ASQF serves as a platform for exchanging experiences, know-how and ideas in the areas of software development and quality management. By joining ASQF, Ancud IT becomes part of a knowledge and support network in the highly competitive international software market. This emphasizes Ancud IT’s efforts to develop innovative and high-quality software. Our vision for software quality sets a high value not only on the innovation of the software but also on the quality and methods of the testing procedures.

Coming from all parts of Germany, the more than 400 experts, companies, universities and research institutions in ASQF seek to retain and strengthen this head start in the field of software quality. ASQF is engaged in the development of software user profiles, analytic methods, software metrics, process evaluation models, testing procedures, product certification, and specification and quality management.

Initiative for Communication Industry Nuremberg (NIK)

Today, the borders between information and communication technology, entertainment electronics and the media start to blur. The Initiative for Communication Industry Nuremberg (Nürnberger Initiative für die Kommunikationswirtschaft, NIK) aims to use this structural change to the advantage of local business. As a medium-sized company, Ancud IT commits itself to the business location Nuremberg. The membership shows our engagement in the region and the promotion of its economic power.

Founded in 1994, NIK today is the cooperation and innovation platform for the information and communication technology in the Nuremberg region as the economic epicentre of Northern Bavaria. Over 80 leading companies, research institutes, universities and other institutions are associated with NIK. NIK pursues the establishment of a positive sociopolitical environment, the initiation of innovative projects and cooperations, and goal-oriented location marketing. This promotes the development of new markets and business areas for the entire Nuremberg region.
